you use hacks you'll get banned. ever sence the anouncement of the new d2 patch 1.13 ppl getting banned left & right.. i love it when i see bot users & maphackers & spammbotters comming here swaring that thay never used any kind of hacks & whining.. im loving every min of it.. every post about some one getting baned make me smile even more ;-)
there is olny one problem to all this tho.. ppl will get new cd keys & start there hacks up again. its so eazy to do that ppl buy there cd keys from online sites for 5 - 10 bucks each @ some places..
why dont b.net not only ban cd's but bann the ip address's as well. i know for some ppl its eazy to reset there ip # but fact is you can only have like 4-5 diffrent ip #'s per isp. for dial up or broadband.
ip ban these ppl if thay come back & get there ip baned again thats 2 down.. in year or so in due time ppl wil run out of ip #'s to use & there stuck being banned....
most of these gamers are kids under 18 years old. ( how thay getting a 18 & over online games is the parents fault) most of these kids cant change to a diffrent ip # with out going to there mommys & daddys..
Why do blizzard only invest resources into banning and restricting, not helping those who fall victim to things like this. I'm not talking about the ones who use hacks designed to cheat the games.
The ones who do everything they are told to do, get anti virus software, scan computer, don't download 3rd party programs and STILL get banned. Is it possible that a completely unrelated program could appear to blizzard as a 3rd party program designed for battle net. Who says blizzard have the absolute highest judgment of who is hacking or not.
What happens to these people?
Can someone honestly say that a "sorry" from blizzard did anything at all to help with the annoyance of these events occurring? Even though I know your sympathy is just a professional facade you are obliged to say.

You agreed to the ToS when creating your account which stated that Blizzard has right to moderate Battle.net as they see fit. That would be what says Blizzard has the absolute highest judgment. Are you banned or just temporarily restricted...?

I at least want my money back and let blizzard do whatever they want. They dress up the game to look so great and then when u get it they hit u with the fascist crap. I made a mistake getting this game and I want a refund. I did not disobey any of their policies, so I do not deserve to be punished.

What if it says "user is not authenticated"?
A friend of mine is not able to start updating his SC, old CD key but very sure it wasn't stolen or being played by anybody else.

Hah... How unfortunate. Attempts for ban appeals are futile. The only answer you'll receive is : Read topic.
Like attempts to stop someone from flooding/loading your clan by talking to a battlenet tech support. The only answer you'll receive is : Do /channel private.
or Send e-mail to support@blizzard.com
Seriously, if you guys get paid for your job, you better do it right, as people paid for the game.
If you don't get paid, why bother?
If battle.net needs something thats an unlimited number of banned users in a clan and a better warden.
what exactly counts as a "hack"
are ALL 3rd party programs, regardless of whether or not malicious deemed "bannable"
because i know some ppl that use benign hosting tools like dotaclient and pickup.listchecker and i just wanted to know if programs like that will get you banned because ive looked just about everywhere on this website and i cant find a list of programs which count as "hacks"

Is playing WC3 on Garena a bannable offense? The dota is much better there and i probably spend half my time split between it and bnet.
Q u o t e: The use of ANY third-party program will get you banned.
So my Logitech drivers are bannable, how about Winamp, maybe Ventrilo?
EVERY *@%#ing program is a 3rd party because Blizzard isn't the maker of these items. How about they focus on one game and make it better instead of turning it into !#!# like WoW.
Maybe you ought to keep your foot out of your mouth before speaking as they BAN you if you lag twice in a row for about an hour. If you think they'll ban for EVERY 3rd party program then you're kidding yourself, because there are a ton of MODS for this game.

/facepalm
Yes, you can get banned for using any third party program.
