On USEAST on about 3/4 of the games i play i either lag bad or get dropped at the beggining. I have a wireless router, dsl internet and i dont know why i lag so much. my computer is kinda old but when i used to play years ago i never had these issues, at least not nearly as much. thinkin about formating my hdd but its such a hassle wonder if anyone could advise me on how i might fix this. my lag when i enter b.net is one green, when i join a game its usually 3y - 6 r. im getting frustrated cuz i cant usually get a public game goin without laggin horribly or getting dropped. UMS are the worst.

Internet is at&t if that matters, any advice would be appreciatted.

Be connected to your router with a wire. Wireless is unstable and laggy and untrustworthy.

You'll need to configure your router and/or any firewalls you may have. You can learn how to do so here:
Please note that disabling your firewall will not cut it.
