Im not looking to join your clan I am looking for a good webmaster/coleader.

You must not be able to make simple inferences, I posted the thread link to show I am involved in a clan, then suggested you do what I do and use forums.

So there you go, cut out the site and just use the board.

If you know what you are doing your community will be better for it, unless you truly need a site for something.

You also aren't going to find a free lance reliable web designer, so better off just paying someone.

Id advise checking out computer forums for someone and that respect.

Id finally suggest that if you were in fact going to do that, that you dont simply ask him to modify t hose cookie-cutter scripts but make you a completely different site from the ground up.

They aren't as rare as you think, but it depends on the type of skillset you're looking for. In the past year or so I've had about half a dozen recruits in Tysan who offered me help with the website, mostly in the form of webdesign.

So if you need someone to do HTML/CSS/Design and stuff, that should be possible. But I strongly suggest you also try forums other than this one, as it has a rather low number of posters.

Alternatively you could try learning it yourself, as it would simultaneously eliminate your dependency on other people and solve your problem once and for all. Judging from your previous sites that would also require a fair amount of scripting, probably PHP and MySQL related.

This will take a lot of time though, though I'd be willing to give you a few pointers. Yes really. No I am not kidding.

Depends on what game you'll be focusing on. You used to be a rather big fan of WarCraft 3 so I would suggest looking for like-minded people on forums such as http://war3.incgamers.com/forums/ - any fansites for the games you'll want to support for [eS].

If you're looking for forum software you could take a look at phpBB. I think Blinkdude used to use that one as well, and it's relatively easy to set up.

Well call me Pros or Prospero please, most people do. TyC is my clan tag, and I don't call you [eS] now do I?

But to answer your question: there are several reasons really.

First of all, I'm not that big of a jerk as you probably think I am.

Second, despite our differences in the past I actually quite like you - if one thing you're determined and that's an admirable quality. You may have some flaws too but so do I.

Third, and most importantly, is that in the old days there was somewhat of a rivalry between our clans. While this rivalry never escalated into anything other than shouting matches (mostly between the two of us), it did motivate me to improve Tysan.

I really miss that rivalry - there aren't that many things left from the old days, and if my suggestions can help you get started with [eS] again, at least some part of the old Battle.net will be back. But just so we're clear - I have no intention of starting any new flame wars with you. A little friendly competition I will not object to though.

Even if I did have AIM it wouldn't do you any good, I usually go to bed around 4PM EST (which is 10PM on my side of the Atlantic), so the chances of catching me online are slim.
