1. Certain resolutions may not be quite so easy to convert. For example, how do you get a 800x600 or 1024x768 resolution to a 1920x1200? And if your thinking of simply increasing the area shown ingame, you'll have the problem of certain players getting more of an advantage when playing. Players playing on a larger resolution for example will have a much larger distance to cast Teleport or attack, etc. Plus, if you simply making everthing look four times as big, such as converting 800x600 to 1600x1200, the game may look very pixelie and not all pleasing to the eyes.

4. Sacrifice makes you lose health based on the amount of damage you deal, and NOT by the amount of health you actually have.

From the Arreat Summit:

Q u o t e:
The first thing to understand about Sacrifice is that the more damage your weapons does, the more life will be drained from yourself. It's possible to increase Attack Damage so high using Sacrifice, a good weapon, and Might or Concentration, that you will be losing huge amounts of life each time you hit a monster. If you plan on using Sacrifice as your main attack, you will have to balance the loss of life with items or you will have to use a lot of Healing Potions.

5. Griswold is far from useless. In fact, I occassionally see some descent Fist of the Heaven Griswold Paladins in Pk games. More sockets = more Lightning Facets. Don't forget that Paladins also have access to Orphan's Call, which can actually work quite nicely for Smiters. But yes, I do agree that Sets are rather lacking overall. But I also kinda like it that way...
