"Your connection has been temporarily restricted from this realm. Please try to log in at another time"
This is ridiculous blizzard. After seeing the terrible shape that Diablo II is in after a decade, it makes me not want to buy Diablo III. I am a legitimate player (no bots or hacks since I am on a mac) yet I am only able to play for a few hours in the day before I get a 12-hour restriction. I will admit, I like playing in windowed mode with music playing (at times I even play wow and d2 at the same time). After a few consecutive days of getting "realm down", I decided to slow it down and create games as slow as possible, but I still got restricted yesterday even after afk'ing in games I created. As I recall, mule-ing isn't against the EULA, and the single created game that players use when mule'ing couldn't be that big of a burden on your deserted 10-year old Diablo II servers. I can see how pindle games lasting less than a minute could be a burden to the servers, but those games don't stay open for any length at all... so I'm not sure what goal you are trying to achieve with this policy.
THIS TYPE OF RESTRICTION DOES NOT AFFECT THE BOTTERS. THEY STILL HAVE WAYS AROUND IT. YOU ARE ONLY AFFECTING THE CASUAL PLAYERS THAT DON'T FEEL LIKE GOING THROUGH THE TROUBLE OF CHANGING THEIR IP ADDRESS. PLEASE CHANGE SOMETHING SO THAT I CAN PLAY FOR AT LEAST AS MUCH TIME AS I SPEND BEING RESTRICTED.
