I agree.

I own 3 copies of both D2 and LOD each, and regularly use two to play LAN games (modifications such as Eastern Sun, or Ancestral Recall) with my wife, or whoever happens to be over.

If I hadn't been able to do this, I would have given up on this game 7 years ago. There's no way I want to put up with spam bots/hackers on the realms.

I realise that having a LAN option makes it easier for realm hacks, but please try to include it for us modders.
