Hmm, I'm hard pressed to argue with this, however, I don't believe that alcoholism stems from stress of everyday life. I believe alcoholism is more deep seeded then that. Also, people who have a hard time keeping a job or being productive on the job, whether alcoholic or not, cant do so because of their thought processes, respect for others and their inability to conform to ideas. Generally speaking, anyone who has a hard time keeping a job, should be self employed.

The effects of pot on a casual user (after work to unwind) and their environment if far more degrative then the effects of alcohol on a person using it for the same reason.

I person can drink a bottle wine while cooking dinner, eating dinner and cleaning up dinner, but there is no way a person could do the same while smoking a gram of weed.
