If you are using Windows Vista/7, please make sure to start the game using Administrator mode. Right click on the Warcraft III icon and Select "Run as Administrator" to launch the game in Administator mode. If you have Windows Vista and do not start the game this way the system may prevent you from updating and downloading any needed patch files.
