My account was hacked sometime in the last month. I had not logged in to WoW for over 2 months. On Friday I was notified that my WoW account was being suspended for suspicious activity, I tried to log into my battle.net account, with no success, so I changed the password and was able to log in (I KNOW my password, it was changed somehow)
First question: How was my password changed without myself getting an email?
No, the 'hacker" did not log into my email and delete the email, because I have all incoming mail immediately forwarded to another account, and I did not received anything saying my password was changed. Since changing the password my account was AGAIN hacked on 7-11-2010 sometime and I had to RE-change my password AGAIN.
Dunno how a password change happens without you getting a note. This Blizzard has to answer.
BUT if you changed your pass on 7-9-2010 - not back to the original i guess - and the account got hacked again 2 days later my guess would be your system was infected by a trojan keylogger.
