hey thanks for quick response.

I just ran the video test as you suggested and it completed and told me that i was running the direct3d for my 240gts already.

My game ran fine before that crash, with the exception of a black screen after i left a bnet game, but that wasn't too big a problem for me. Its the problem that effects the whole computer now with this blue tint that bothers me.
