Sorry if this has been posted, searched but couldn't find anything.

I've come back to Warcraft III after several months and all ladder games are pretty much un-microable. There's just too much delay to do anything. I remember some lag before, but the units are barely responsive. Has it always been like this or has battle.net just gone down hill?
