When I was lurking through the D2 forums yesterday morning, I found posts, in several threads, on all the D2 forums concerning this issue. At first, I didn't put much stock in it, until I tried to start D2 myself. I discovered that I was having the same problem, so I decided to post the step-by-step instructions I used to resolve the issue for those users who were reinstalling D2 (some, several times).

I only posted here to give you a bump and reiterate (hopefully in a condensed form) what was posted on the first page. (Providing users hadn't already cleared their AVG Virus Vault).

No harm, no foul... right? ;)
