Uh... My sister has a Vista and I can't get Warcraft 3 to install on her computer. Whenever the Frozen Throne installer is opening, it stops at OutroX.mpq.So I took out the CD, and the CD has some scratches on it, so I cleaned it but the same thing happened. The Frozen Throne installer runs perfectly on my computer though.
I'm pretty sure the CD isn't a problem, because I first installed Warcraft 3 with my CDs, then I let my friend borrow them, and now since the friend who has my CDs lives in a different CD, I went to my friends home which is 2 blocks away from mine, got HIS CD's and installed it again on my computer after I was having problems with the Bomber Command patching.
I've used 2 different CD's to install warcraft 3, and both of them install correctly. We have to work at this problem from a different approach.
I don't know why the heck the installer doesn't work on my sister's computer but I don't want to have warcraft 3 on her computer anyway, I just installed it to check if the CD's were corrupted, but I'm pretty sure that's not the case from what I spoke about above.
By the way, I have tried patching in safe mode, so that's out of the picture as well.
