Get 3-4 footmen, 5 militia. Focus the golem, firestrike the organic enemies. Pull back any units that are getting attacked and are at yellow health bar.

There is no need to creep goblin shops, eventually someone else will do it for you. You can shop at night without drawing aggro as you mentioned, and at day just run by grab a invis pot and run.

You are allowed to make an army with this strategy, Flamechampion is a lazy cretin. If you want to take up his "challenge" then I guess not. But his challenge is stupid.
