You mean vamp aura? probably not - Splash doesn't, but maybe that's different.
Ghoul rush works against any race, if you're lucky enough. Wonderful to watch militia get swarmed by vampiric ghoul frenzy.
Levels do not net you the win, but they sure help. I find Dark ranger better when you ARE undead, especially with DK, since the skellies are a nice source of life, and DR is undead, and thus easily healed in return. ALWAYS use statues, unless your strat specifically involves not using them, since they're one of the best (and only undead) healing units ever.
Like I said before, the only real competetive edge (if the game is prolonged) is the ridiculous swarm of units you can get on your side. The abos are tough, and good for absorbing damage, frosties are one of the best base nukers, but both are expensive. Really you want necs and skelly swarm, wagonmancer works if you have goblin zep, and it takes quite a bit of micro to effectively nuke all the skellies, by which time the caster's probably been nuked by your wagons.
When someone calls you a noob, reply thusly:
Everyone was a noob at one point, but only an idiot would think it a bad thing.
