i havent seen all 8 the same race recently, but the other day i was in a game where it was NE UD UD UD vs NE UD UD UD. i and kindbudbuff were the night elves. he wasnt moving so i announced so long as he didnt make a contribution to the game, i wouldnt, and it would become a 3v3
amazingly there were no diaper babies in the game, and nobody left. what ensued was the most pathetic fiendoff ive ever beheld. all 6 players went dk/fiends. battles were slow and indecisive. many a death coil was slung that day. eventually, all 6 players made it to tier 3 and started producing wyrms. then after a bit of that, aboms were thrown into the mix on each side
despite my verbal harassment (i was acting as observer) nobody ever made banshees or necromancers. on top of that, it was rt, so everyones micro was terrible. at least 3 of them were doing the thing where you let your dk run into the fight with right click/attack move, he gets focused, and then in a panic you tell your entire army to retreat
