Someone in another thread said his WOW hero could destroy an entire WarCraft 3 army, including all the heroes, in one chain lightning. That got me to thinking, what is a level 10 WarCraft 3 hero roughly equivalent to in WOW?
I would argue that it's scaled. That is, a level 1 hero in WarCraft 3 is roughly equivalent to a level 1 in WOW. A level 10 hero in WarCraft 3 would then be roughly equivalent to a level 80 hero in WOW.
Argument 1-
You may argue that as more and more WOW material gets released, the level cap gradually rises to reflect an increase in power held by the heroes progressing through the story, therefore the maximum a level 10 WarCraft 3 hero could equate to would be like a level 60 in WOW, since that's what the level cap was originally set to.
Counter 1-
But I would counter that they have from time to time raised the level of NPCs, such as guards, to reflect the new level cap. Does that mean the guards got stronger overnight? No, it just was a numerical adjustment to reflect the changing level disparity.
Argument 2-
You argue that the levels are static, that is a level 10 in WarCraft 3 is equivalent to a level 10 in WOW, and there are no heroes in WarCraft 3 that are as strong as the heroes in WOW.
Counter 2-
That's ridiculous. You'd have to believe that the Death Knight Arthas level 10 WarCraft 3 would lose in a fight against. say. a level 15 bear in Ashenvale Forest. So this argument could not be held seriously.

And, yes, I realize I am posting threads that no one will take seriously. This is more in the name of entertaining myself than anything.
