since you've requested feedback, I'm here to provide some. I hope I'm posting this in the right place. You've said that certain custom maps not working any more can be an indicator of a serious problem, right? Well, consider this: I've tried to host a DotA match in an emulated LAN (Hamachi) and it didn't work. Interestingly, the problem was that I could not even see the map in the Warcraft-browser, i.e. when choosing which map to host. Contrastingly, I could still see the normal DotA map and even host it. Why is that? Do I have to be afraid of an infection of my machine with malicious software now?
