Do you have a source saying that they are supposed to have their physical damage added to their poison cloud and it is supposed to tick every frame (25 times a second)..? Nothing else in the game behaves in such a way. If for some strange reason it is intended which is doubtful, it is not worth derailing the topic over and they will just ignore it..
