It's difficult to judge how good my connection is, but I know several of the guys on my friend's list complain that they have a lot of lag and other such problems with their connection, especially wireless. My modem has bad traffic shaping, and someone else in the house who uses Google Reader or even watches enough YouTube videos can generate a frustrating amount of lag.

Since I'm not a big network technology guy, and Blizz doesn't say much, it's likely your luck, given the heavy amount of automated traffic on the servers these days..
