Q u o t e:
I'm trying to solve an issue and I've seen a lot of posts that come close, but not quite.

We have an Airport Extreme router in the house.
My son and I both play Diablo II. (Yes, we have 2 keys.)
We can generate a LAN game and play.
We can both log into Battle.Net within the game.
I can join Battle.Net games.

However, if either of us generates a game on Battle.Net, the other's client will not find the game.
I can look in my friends list and see he's playing in game "whatever", but when I attempt to join game "whatever" it says it was unable to find the game, or that I cannot join a Ladder game with a non-Ladder character (this is not the issue).

I see lots of comments about Port Forwarding, which is great if I was the only one on my LAN using Diablo 2 and I wanted all of the traffic to go to me, but I'm not, and I don't. I found Port Forwarding on my router, but see no way to just throw ports open period; and the Firewall on my OS X 10.6.5 system is not on.

Any help appreciated.

Best place to ask, and a blue reply is quite possible.

My thoughts are a work in progress, so please excuse the mental dust.
