Please give a few minutes BEFORE logging back on when deleting the bncache.dat. Thanks Sothasil for getting that cache suggestion up there since I was unable to post until now. Another thing to consider in the above step is deleting the realm folder(s) in your Diablo II Save Folder (USEast, USWest, Asia, Europe). No, this will not delete your online characters as they are saved on the server (not your computer), and once you log on with the appropriate account they will reappear in the Diablo II Save Folder. edit: There could be a serverside problem, which Blizzard has acknowledged on the Techincal Support Forum. Bob_the_evil also mentioned the World Event contributing to these drops. In the future, providing more information will allow others to better help address the problem, and can even help Blizzard fix the problem (if on their end). Document other things or trying other things can tell something; even though many of you are experiencing the same message, could be experiencing something very different.
