I love playing in the city, but I absolutely despise the jungles, moreso than all that walking in Act 2.
The jungle area is easy as well.
Spider Forest: Walk along the path, going down the side paths until you find the Spider Cavern. Pop in, get the first piece, pop out. Run straight along the path, no side paths.
Great Marsh: This place is avoidable entirely if the map is generated right. If not, just run straight through, no side paths.
Flayer Jungle: If the path was generated right, you can jump straight here. Go along side paths, get the Flayer Jungle WP, find the Gidbinn and the Flayer Dungeon in the same spot. Jump in, go through, get the second piece, pop back to town and use the WP. Run straight through to Stormtree.
Lower Kurast: Easy. Just barge through.
Kurast Bazaar: Also easy. Find the Ruined Temple, pop in, get the book, then head straight for the Sewers.
Sewers: Run along the edge and hope Sewers 2 spawned there. If not, look in the middle. Go to Sewers 2, get the third piece, pop up, go through the Sewers to Upper Kurast.
Upper Kurast: Just as short as the Kurast Causeway. Run from the Sewers to the Causeway.
Kurast Causeway: Self-explainatory.
Travincal: Run over to the side, get the WP, jump to town to turn in the book. Jump back down, slaughter the Council like there's no tomorrow. Pick up the Flail, cube all the pieces, smash the Orb, go to the Durance.
If done right, you can get through all of that in about 2/3rds of the time it would take you to clear Act 2.
