I haven't. They don't lead the best runs. They use no teamwork at all. They'll usually cast some low-level BO over mine, not use cleanse for wave 2, etc etc. Some of them even go kill nihlathak before running to baal. I can teleport and beat them down to the throne room without using maphack.
Using bots is selfish. You did it for you. If you didn't do it for only yourself, you would have left off the pickit, and allowed less fortunate players to pick up something nice for themselves.

2. I was actually teleporting hell baal runs within the first few days of the ladder. No cheats, no programs. In fact, some of my newly acquired ladder buddies were using cheats (FC, etc) and they were "mooching" off of me!

I must admit, curiosity did get the best of me in 1.10, and I downloaded Mousepad's Maphack. Of coarse, I wasn't playing online at the time. My brother and I were trying out LAN. I grew tired of it since it didn't really add much to my experience (it's easy to find things already) and stopped using it. We eventually tired of LAN and quit.

The economy was good... for the people who cheated and got rich by doing so. I don't ever remember gaining any items because some retard with a bot found it. They hoard, just like everyone else on Diablo2.
I seemed to have made it to 95 before quitting (roughly 3 months after ladder began). I have a family and a job. You just need to use your time more effectively.
