People don't complain about every game abuse... Every complaint I've heard was of the ad bots spamming every game and spamming chat. Not many people care about the other things except Blizzard. If they want the 3rd party programming to end they are going to have to find a way to stop it permanently by protecting the game in general from them. Kicking 350,000 people from games isn't going to solve much, but create an uproar.

I'm sure they can imbed some sort of 'watermark' into the program and any upcoming patches. If the game doesn't recognize a backdoor addition to the game it would terminate that program.

Why can't they just come up with something like that?

If it's a number as big as 350,00 find another way to cope with it. Way to go Blizzard you found a fork in the road but instead of going home they chose the Bed and Breakfast.
