Maybe my message wasn't clear enough, ok. I was busy at the time, and I couldn't spend enough time to fully comprehend all points you were trying to make by your post, so I replied to what I could catch. Now that I'm at home, I have time to discuss that matter.
Diablo is not a physics game, it's about other things. If you want everything to be interactive, play some Gmod or other physics-based games. Do you even know how much effort is needed to make if not every, but many things interactive in a 3D environment?
Of course we want our favorite thing to be the best in every aspect, but it's not the goal for the Blizzard company, or even the Diablo crew.
And please, don't get hostile with a stranger, it's inappropriate. Especially on the internet.
1. You don't get to dismiss what 3D brings to a game by stating your view of what is important to you - diablo is certainly a physics game in the same way that any game involving real time combat is. Any such game would be better for 3D so it is clearly fanboi-ish to simply dismiss the laziness of using a 3D graphics engine with "a fixed camera position".
2. Hostile? That's not hostile mate, when I'm hostile, you'll know it.. But... if you do not understand that your response to my post was dismissive and supercilious then you have a lot to learn. If you poke sticks through the bars, expect to get bitten.
3. Yes I've come across you before - it's been a while since I posted here but your posts have been annoying in the past.
