Q u o t e:

I really enjoyed D2's trading system ... it was an interesting alternative to doing nothing but placing an item on a AH at 1 copper cheaper than all the others...

Part of the fun was knowing which items were worth something..which you OBVIOUSLY never bothered to learn. I am 100% positive you went into trading games with crap items thinking you were bad ass only to be laughed at and ridiculed when you tried to trade.

And I feel for ya. I know that sucks...we've all been there. Difference is, I took the time to learn the trading game, and found something very fun and unique. I understand the majority of gamers are lazy good for nothing slackers that want everything handed to them, but just because something is easy, doesn't mean its the best way.

I didn't come here to bash D2. I loved/love the game. Yes we all had to learn item values the hard way but that doesn't change even with the existance of an AH. We will still have to learn item values or we will get ripped off. And yes I hated D2's trading system and love the idea of an AH. You disagree, that's cool, but it's not really what this topic is about.
