The Economy in Diablo 2 is largely based on PvP and its the main reason I play the game.

I think blizzard is trying to minimize the impact players feel when they have been cheated, pk'ed, duped, or tricked so they have automated many things.

I know Jay Wilson may not say it directly but the main reason he dislikes PvP is he sees that as a class of players who seek to dominate the play aspects of diablo and that will interfere with the PvE side.
Pvp is the main driving force in the game (d2) right now and always has been.

I remember even in 109 the only reason people wanted windforce is to pk with, not to "own baal".

I just dont think blizzard is taking the right approach in this, as ignoring pvp impact replayability, & yes pvp should be more organized.
