All of you stfu. Music has some very good points about pvp, and I think most people are fine with pvp having more game modes. We know Blizzard has their old 1 life per round game type from last blizzcon, so why cant they add it back in? It wont take much time.
At least that way theres 2 game modes. Hopefully after they get this idea of anything competitive has to be an esport out of their head, then maybe after the game comes out they will start putting in cool features like spectator mode, or replays.
Jay Wilson just assumes adding replays etc. makes the game seem "esporty" and they dont want that. How about they think of it as, maybe you did incredibly well, and you wanted to save that game, and maybe show some friends the game. With a replay feature you can.
Obviously Jay Wilson does not want a ranked rating system, but that does not mean they cannot put in more game modes to satisfy both ends. With pve and pvp being completely separate (spells and all). Anything done to pvp wont effect pve, so there shouldnt be any worry from pve people only.
Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do, and they will surprise you with their ingenuity...unless he's Sammie
