  • 0. Do you care about guilds/clans?   07/19/2011 09:51:03 PM PDT
Kind of curious. I guess I always assume two things when I read forums like this.
That A) you play multiplayer only. B) you are not only in a guild or clan, but you prefer to be so whenever possible.

But do you even care? What kind of guild stuff would you want to see in the game? Would having a really sweet guild setup maybe make you more inclined to play online, to meet people and make friends? Or are you just happy with the flist?

I know most of you play or have played WoW, so you're at least familiar with how the guild system is set up in that game. While I don't want D3 to feel like WoW Junior, I think there's a lot of good stuff that they could pull from the guild systems.

Shared guild stash, for one. "Bank" if you prefer, but I prefer stash. Access is limited by guild rank, which is determined by the guild master. Anyone can deposit, but few can withdraw. Guild levels and perks gained per level was a neat idea but I don't think it would carry the same weight or meaning in an ARPG.
Cosmetic stuff, though, I think would be awesome. Guild-based achievements and things of that nature. What do you think?
