Players grouping with strangers without fear of betrayal is more important than a minority of players who only have fun when they're killing someone else. If this was enabled, we'd have players hiding in passworded games lest someone invade and %%!# their **## up. Different divisions is not a possibility either. You can't just split the community like that.

EDIT: Armor stays on the character, but players in arenas are subject to the same death rules that monsters are. Locust swarm > skeletonize, Disintegrate > disintegrated, Bash > decapitation, etc.
Haha thanks, I actually made the song before I did my research and saw from a business POV how griefing would be bad for the economy and game, so what your saying is totally correct, but I have now come to terms with it, and I have a great number of friends (9 I can think off the top of my head) that will be playing, so 9/10 I will be playing with them so a hostile button for the fun would be great. And Like I said, blizz could make it so that no character is able to hostile beyond a certain level.
Just like in d2. You could create a game with a level cap above and below you for who could enter. Same could apply just for the option of hostile.
I just find it adds a whole never level of thrill.
