Q u o t e: In Europe it's DD-MM-YYYY actually. Well at least where I am from it is, might not be the same all over Europe.
Oh, ok, thanks for the info... ..
Q u o t e: Which is more logical anyway.
It's more sequential, but, when hearing or reading a date it's actually more logically information driven to the way we speak dates to have MM-DD-YY.
In DD-MM-YYYY format you have to work to piece the information together.
"Yeah the party is on 5-"
"5 what? I have to wait for the next bit of info to give this any context."
"11"
"Oh ok, November. November 5th."
"2010"
"Ok, November 5th 2010."
In MM-DD-YYYY format it translates directly to the way dates are spoken (and thus thought of).
"Yeah the party is on 11"
"Ok, November"
"5"
"November 5th."
"2010"
"THAT WUS EEZIER"
WEAK JUSTIFICATIOOOOOON!
So anything else you'd like to officially announce besides your inability to understand different dating schemes?
