I was'nt refering to auras as such because they're ok as long as the visual effect is't too glowy. We have to remember that D3 will already have more visual effects then the previous parts. You can't put too many fireworks into it cause you won't see anything from behind it and finaly loose ability to control events on the screen.
I was refering to ppl asking about adding weird things to the game: I've seen some kids asking about pirates, ninjas, warewolves.. What's next? Aliens, ninja turtles? That fits to Diablo as a fist to someones nose.
Now Sayians.. They are a race of characters from the "Dragon Ball" manga cartoon by Akira Toriyama. Known from their unique ability to transform into higher (more powerful) form which also changes their look - they seem like burning, their hair become very bright and whole statue emanate with pulsing energy. That is ok for a cartoon and manga. Now take it to the Diablo characters - imagine such glowing, bright blonde witch doctor or barbarian... Do I have to go further with explanation why I dislike the idea?
Favourite game is like chocolate cake - you love it as it is and suddenly someone says "Lets add onions to it, would be cool" - got my point now?
Isn't there someone else you can annoy? Friends? Family? Poisonous reptiles?
