he said it with a huge snarky grin on his face and some other funny looks so you could spend months trying to figure out what he meant, imo you're better off completely disregarding it because it could be argued either way what he meant.
It means nothing, unfortunately. Just as we don't know the release date, we don't know the beta date. He might as well have said nothing, or the same thing over and over. BUT.
Because he actually SAID "beta", is instilling hope.
And of course he's going to grin, he's the kid with his hand in the cookie jar.
