Q u o t e: I like the idea of rewards fore experience beyond level caps. However, these shouldn't be anything tangible. Things like adding to your characters stats in any way essentially make it so PvP characters are practically REQUIRED to grind up to those rewards to maintain a level playing field. No matter how negligible the rewards may SEEM, 2% here and 1% there adds up in PvP.
Aesthetic rewards like choosing from a list of titles per what tier of experience gained you've reached, or trinkets that cause halo's, extra blood to drop, maybe even the option to use certain dyes (Bound to that character, so if you trade an item you dyed with one of these it reverts back to it's original color) etc. could be really cool though.
Speaking of dyes, has anyone heard anything official about them? They'd be a great feature! Though they'd need to be kept in check. Some older games economies were dominated by certain colored items (specifically UO and black dye).
Maybe one of the artisans could dye items... That'd be pretty cool.
i think its 15 different dye colors, and only certain parts of armor specifically designed for dye can be dyed, some robe might be able to be completely dyed, where another armor might have a small sash that can be dyed
some dyes are going to be hard to find (maybe black like you mentioned)
i think i read somewhere the dye colors were based on a 2shade colors system and im not sure if that meant we will need to mix dyes to get certain colors or something else
and yea, im unsure if an artisan will dye your gear, but that seems logical
it has been said, that in the end of all things, we'd find a new beginning
