"Earthquake barbs" vs "WW barbs"

Anyone else really hope that things end up being more along the lines of the latter than the prior?

I know in diablo 2, alot of the specialization in that regard happened because many of the skills were just flat out broken, but I personally think the IDEA of that kind of system is pretty amazing. Assuming all the the skills in diablo 2 were made useful, or at least equally viable, it would be a nearly perfect skill system IMO (minus synergies of course).

Not seeing it in diablo 3 would be quite sad.

I cant really tell from the skills theyve shown so far how the skills should be used (IE: 1 or 2 main skills plus 3 passive? Or what), but does anyone else think they seem alot more like talents?

I mean, 5 skill point max + 100 skill levels =???
Maybe you no longer get 1 skill point per level? That would suck.

I think having innate class skills would probably be the most telling sign, but I havnt heard anything like that yet.
