I was there, but I had to leave early.

I wasnt expecting Classic, so my pre game thoughts about assassin were ruined.

I went with paladin as I know the class and skills well.

I did enjoy the intial scurry through the first quest, and eventually I found the cave and leveled by myself for a while enjoying it all the more. I do like to solo as it's a ton of exp and you don't have to worry about getting items stolen. I did find it bad when I finished the cave, I had fallen so far behind in terms of land that I ran forever through the underground passage trying to find my way to Dark wood, which was surely cleared.

I kept up in levels for the time I was there, and learned that fire aura at level 6 is IMMENSLY helpful for leveling up non twinked. I was working on kind of a smite build, but I didn't realise how much fire damage that skill added, making solo extremely easy.

If I didn't have to leave early, I think I would of stood a fair chance in the running for at least top 3.

I really did enjoy it though, and hopefully the week after next I will be able to attend and play all the way through, next week is early shift at work.
