Q u o t e: Coodav, I don't think I've read one positive response to this idea.
Look:
Q u o t e: Ive suggested the same thing before but people *cough grug cough* say that they only want the heros of sanctuary to be out there fighting, and the common man should just let the whole world be destroyed because they are too afraid.
-Friskydingo
Q u o t e: As cool as it would be, I highly doubt we'll see it to the caliber you guys are proposing. We may see something like the Bloody Foothills, on a larger scale, but that's it.
-You
Q u o t e: Sounds pretty damn badass.
-Septictank
Q u o t e: I like the idea of more large scale battles or some kind of siege experience, but they would have to be careful ...
-Retaliate
Q u o t e: A big Yes for this.
-Berserkki
Q u o t e: This was one thing that was major dissappointment in HG:L: Epic vids showing war-like battle, yet you never took part in them.
-Akaitsuki (Seemed like a "yes" to armies to me. Note, this post is below)
and of course:
Q u o t e: "We want ARMIES, We want ARMIES, We want ARMIES..."
-Me
Are we reading the same thread? I mean, you (even if I take you off the Yes post) Sharkull, and Grug +/- isn't even a majority.
And hell, you may be right about this post being dead, but some of the responses in this thread are in COMPLETE contradiction to what was said. The level of exaggeration here is outlandish.
And just in case you forgot:
Q u o t e: And maybe you are right about that. D3 might not be the place to do it.
Diablo take-off or new franchise? Mix the best parts of WC3 and Diablo into one awesome game of coolness? You can command an army of dudes and STILL be the hero. Plus unique gear and party play. Maybe "GENERALS OF SANCTUARY" or some such. That said, if there aren't HUGE battles in D3, I would be sorely disappointed. I REALLY want to wade through that army in LOTR.
