My friends and I have been hooked on D2 since it came out. We only play it PvE, closed games and regularly do Hell Baal runs, and having got another friend into the game recently, I can't see us stopping any time soon.

I understand that a lot of people enjoy the PvP aspect of Diablo, but speaking on behalf of the group of guys and girls I run with: we couldn't give a damn.
