Q u o t e:
So much things where better in diablo 1 over the 2 in term of "horror" level.

Just remember thoses little gobelins, how aggressive they were, they looked like a real challenge, if I compare that with the little red ones in D2 having hard time to deal 1 hit and constantly screaming like babies.

And thoses goatman, even if they were back in diablo 2, in Diablo 1 there had multiples weapons, they were kind of annoying but they surely didn't look like a stupid animal, they were sometimes fleeing to avoid their death for exemple, and their death animation.... Oh My God, so great lol. Even the sound of the blood splash was fitting so perfectly.

Oh.... and I didn't even mention thoses kind of spider rat, ripping you appart and sometimes stopping to go eat the flesh they just grabbed from you. Ahhhh.

And... King Leoric..... the Butcher....... the lightning demons..... the subbus..... the mage.... OMG THE DEATH KNIGHT YEAAH they were so sweet lol.

Woaw..... I thinks that if I didn't replayed it that much, I would be in for another game right now. I should almost try to mod that game to get a lots of items suffix and prefix like in D2 or get rares items, god it would be great.

Ahhh... nostalgia lol.

I agree.... Nostalgia...... I would love to see a lot of these monsters returning, but especially, the hidden. I really did enjoy the sound effects in D1 better than D2. They had a much more real feel to them. I hope they take a lot of notes from D1 in these areas.
The slanted eyes, so unearthly a gray color that they seized the attention of all who looked into them. Yet almost immediately those same eyes repelled, for in them Kentril sensed his own mortality.
