Fixed monster respawn times and static dungeons would murder what diablo 3 should be. I liked diablo 1 and diablo 2 for what they were. I don't play MMO's because I don't like what they are. Why would I want the things I don't like about MMOs in a game I do like.

I don't usually like sounding like a jackass but actually wanting fixed monster/instance reset timers? Are you freaking retarded?

I mean your idea was well thought out and all that.

I do agree that running meph over and over again was more of a nuissance than anything, but all you suggested was to spread the stuff over a larger are and put timers on it so we were only allowed to do it so many times per day.

That's like when I was 12 and my parents only let me use the computer for an hour a day.

Honestly I'd rather kill meph 200 times in 1 day for that piece of loot I want, than 200 times in 200 days.

Sure it'll drag out the length of time you play as far as days goes, but I know i'll just get tired of all the waiting over just playing and go to another game.

Which is a big disappointment since I've been playing from shortly after d1 release all those years ago.

And no I don't specifically have any problems with wow at all. Instance timers seem to be the general MMO philosophy and I feel it's garbage.

The only reasoning behind putting 1 day or 1 week raid timers, is so people don't get all the loot in a day or two and quit. The company needs to drag it out so they can get more subscription fees.

Since blizzard isn't charging for D3 it doesn't make sense to try and drag it out. They just need to make it so there is plenty of stuff for people to do. not make it so people only log in once a week to kill a boss and log out.

Sorry for poor structuring but I don't feel like rearranging all the fragmented thoughts I spewed out.
