I'd rather they make the quiver and arrows like mana and the rage system. Instead of a quiver being some type of equipment, it would replace the mana globe on the hotbar for archers. Instead of archer skills using mana, they would use arrows.
The quiver could refill arrows automatically, just like mana for the mana globe. The class could even have a skill called "Arrow Crafting" that would increase the amount of arrows replenished/second. Unlike with mana, the number of arrows held in the quiver could be smaller in number, like around 100. Powerful archer skills could use 5 to 10 arrows. There could even be arrows that drop from enemies, much like health and mana globes. The archer could just walk over it to refill their quiver without the hassle of buying arrows or reorganizing their inventory.
I like this idea because you still have to manage your arrows and you still get "infinite ammo" with no hassle.
I'd be great if Blizzard used this system, because it would make playing the archer class more strategic. But I can't help but think that they'll just go with the easy decision and have straight out infinite ammo.
