Well there is the point that he contradicted himself when he said that Paladins only needed Dexterity and Vitality because they got their Strength from their gear. That's exactly how it's going to work in Diablo3. And if you want to create a crazy Dexterity and Strength Wizard, you can still do it, you've just got to equip her accordingly. They even have a melee combat skill tree for the Wizard for ****'s sake.

Then there're the fact that he clearly knew nothing about the new health orb and potion system. I don't see how anyone could want to remove the orb system they have now because it just complements the gameplay so well. Potions don't.

Also, about having the same gear at the same level, not to mention that having the same gear in Diablo3 practically equates to having the same Stat distribution in Diablo2, it just puts more emphasis on skill. Instead of the person who either was lucky enough to put their Stats in the right places or knew the game well enough to know where to put their Stats being able to survive, the better skilled player would be the one who's able to survive.

Then there's also the point that just because World of WarCraft also has the auto-Stat system, it doesn't mean it's bad. Most likely it would actually mean it's effective and works well.

Also, he went along the familiar route of "me and my friends aren't going to buy your game, nyer nyer".

Though, I do think it was rather borderline. There have been much more blatant attempts at trolling (pretty much every post by Dos350) that haven't been locked.

I guess another part of it was that there are about a billion threads on each of the points the poster brought up, and no reason to start another.
